Clem 7 South Ventilation Structure is one of the buildings of the Clem Jones Tunnel (Formerly North South Bypass Tunnel) network that serves as an a system for safe tunnel ventilation and as an emergency system for extraction of smoke out of the tunnel during a fire emergency. Its is situation approximately 300mm off the mainline tunnel and is connected to the main line tunnels by the southern ventilation tunnel.
The cladding design is based off a Jacaranda tree scheme, which forms part of the Brisbane City Council global plan for the development of the Woolloongabba area. Click HERE to view slide show.
